Club Atletico de Madrid and Manchester City have reached a reasonable agreement for the transfer of Martin Petrov to the English Premier League. The Bulgarian midfielder left Club Atletico de Madrid’s Sports Center in Los Ángeles de San Rafael on the evening of Tuesday, July 24th in order to prepare for his outbound flight to Manchester. Club Atletico de Madrid would like to express its utmost gratitude and appreciation to Martin Petrov for all of his hard work and dedication while defending the red-and-white colors throughout the past two seasons. The Club would like to wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.

Simao Sabrosa is already in Madrid to finalize his signing by Club Atletico de Madrid. The Portuguese player landed in Terminal 4 at Barajas Airport and appeared very surprised by the large number of members of the media who were awaiting him. Upon his arrival, Simao acknowledged that he felt ”very happy to come to Atletico de Madrid”, emphasizing that he hopes to ”do great things here”.

Simao Sabrosa will undergo the compulsory medical examination on Friday 27 July at 10:00 in the morning. The appointment will take place at the Recoletos Polyclinic inside Vicente Calderon Stadium and the check-up will be supervised by ASISA. The footballer will be accompanied by Doctor José María Villalón, Chief of Club Atletico de Madrid Medical Services.
